Learn how to use your digital tally counter effectively. This guide covers all features from creating counters to organizing them with drag & drop.
Open the extension popup in one of the following ways:
If the extension icon is pinned in the toolbar — simply click it.
If it is not pinned — click the puzzle icon, then find Clicker Counter in the menu and click it.
Click the + button at the top-left of the popup to add a new counter.
Enter a descriptive name for your counter (e.g., 'Meals Today', 'Cups of Tea', 'Cookies').
You can rename any counter at any time by clicking on its name and typing a new one.
Use the + and - buttons next to any counter to adjust its value by 1. Changes are instant.
You can also click the counter value, type any number, and it will be saved immediately.
All changes are saved automatically, so you never lose your counting progress.
Hover over the drag handle ⠿, then click and drag to move a counter.
Drag the counter to your desired position in the list.
Release the mouse button to place the counter in its new position.
Arrange your counters by priority, frequency of use, or any system that works for you.
Click the three-dots menu icon (⋮) on the counter. In the menu, choose Delete Counter….
Confirm the deletion in the popup dialog that appears.
The counter and all its data will be permanently removed.
Deleting a counter removes all its data permanently. This action cannot be undone.
Click the three-dots menu icon (⋮) on the counter. In the menu, choose Reset Counter to 0.
The counter value will return to 0, but the counter itself remains.
To reset all counters at once, click the eraser button in the top-right corner. A confirmation dialog will appear. If you confirm, all counters will be reset to 0.
All your counter data is automatically saved to your browser's local storage. No need to manually save - your data persists even after closing the browser.
The extension automatically switches between light and dark themes based on your browser preferences. No manual theme switching required.
